「TOJISPA SUICHO」は、保温効果に優れた温泉・身体が喜ぶ食事・スパトリートメントなどを掛け合わせることで美と健康への相乗効果を二倍にも三倍にも膨らませるという考え方。

現代人が抱えている大きな問題はストレスと言われています。あらゆるストレスの中で生きている現代の女性に、心からゆっくりとくつろいでいただきたい。そして日々の生活をもっと楽しくすごしていただきたいそれが翠蝶館の願いです。
女性のためだけの宿であること。
「女性が本当にくつろげる宿づくりを」そのために私たちは女性のお客様にだけ、喜んでいただくことを選択いたしました。男性や小さなお子様がお泊まりいただけない宿になったのは、皆さまに本当に安らいでいただく空間をつくるのが困難だからです。メイクを落とし、素肌のままで。そして自分の心を穏やかに、自分自身を可愛がる一日に。
女性のためだけを考えたおもてなし、館内の施設、お食事をご提供させていただきます。
現代の食生活。
仕事や家事に育児に、何かと忙しい毎日の中では自分のことはついつい後回しで、食生活が乱れがちになることも。体は食べ物でできています。食養生という考えのもと、北海道の旬の食材をふんだんに使用し、栄養たっぷりで、体がポカポカと内側から温まるような、おいしくて体に優しいお料理をご提供いたします。

We offer a beauty experience to all our guests. The hot spring baths have a variety of beneficial effects, such as beautifying the skin, detoxifying the body, and relieving stress and cold, freeing the mind and body, and regulating the circulation of air, blood, and water. We want to make the traditional hot-spring cure easy for women to enjoy in a modern way. This is Suichokan's goal: to create an inn where women can become beautiful. TOJISPA SUICHO” is a concept of doubling or tripling the synergistic effects of beauty and health by combining a hot spring with excellent heat retention effects, meals that please the body, and spa treatments. We propose you to enjoy, be healed, and be beautiful from the inside out.
Illness starts with the mind.
It is said that the major problem facing people today is stress. Suichokan wants modern women, who live under all kinds of stress, to relax and unwind from the bottom of their hearts. Suichokan's wish is for them to be able to enjoy their daily lives more and more.
The inn must be exclusively for women.
In order to create an inn where women can truly relax, we have chosen to please only female guests. The reason why men and small children are not allowed to stay at the inn is because it is difficult to create a space where everyone can truly relax. Take off your makeup and leave your skin bare. And make it a day to calm your mind and adore yourself. We offer hospitality, in-house facilities, and meals designed just for women.
Modern Eating Habits.
In our busy lives with work, housework, and childcare, we tend to put ourselves on the back burner and our diets tend to become disordered. The body is made up of food. Based on the concept of food regimen, we offer delicious and healthy dishes that are full of nutrients and warm your body from the inside out, using a variety of seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido.
寶亭留について
創業当時（昭和32年）、
篆刻家で書道の大家であった関野香雲先生が当ホテルに投宿されておりました。
定山渓のお湯の良さとくつろぎに心洗われた先生は、
一幅の書を揮毫（きごう）されました。
それが「定山渓第一寶亭留」の篆書（てんしょ）です。
お泊まりいただいたお部屋からは定山渓温泉で
もっとも遅くまで夕陽を受ける夕日岳が金色に輝いて見えていたことから
『山』の文字は夕日岳を模したと伝え聞いております。
当時は世の中の何も彼も洋風・洋式へと傾注していた時代で、
当ホテルも定山渓第一ホテルとして洋風化路線を進めていたため、
この篆書は長いこと眠りについておりました。
時は移り平成14年、私たちは、「旅館のもつおもてなしの心とホテルのもつ快適さ」を
ご提供して参りたいとの思いを見事に表現した「寶亭留（ホテル）」の書を再発見したのです。
「ホテル」ではなく「寶亭留（ほてる）」。
お客様の心に寶（たから）が留（とど）まる亭（やかた）。
以降、宿名はカタカナのホテルから寶亭留に改められました。
この思いを大切に、お客さまに愛される宿を目指して参りたいと存じます。
When the hotel was founded in 1957, Mr. Koun Sekino, a seal engraver and calligraphy master, stayed at the hotel. He was so refreshed by the hot water and relaxation of Jozankei that he painted a calligraphy. It is the seal inscription of “Jozankei Daiichi Hotel”.
From the room where he stayed, Mt. Yuhidake, which receives the lateest sunset in Jozankei Onsen, was seen shining in golden colors, and the character for “mountain” was modeled after Mt. At that time, everything in the world was leaning toward Western style and Western-style, and our hotel, Jozankei Daiichi Hotel, was promoting Westernization, so this seal script had long been in a slumber.
In 2002, we rediscovered the “寶亭留” seal, which beautifully expresses our desire to provide “the hospitality of a ryokan and the comfort of a hotel”. Not “hotel,” but “hotel. It is a pavilion where glorious treasures stay in the hearts of our guests. Since then, the name of the inn has been changed from the katakana “hotel” to “寶亭留 (hotel).
We will keep this thought in mind as we strive to be an inn that is loved by our guests.
